DCT Virtual Training - Week 5
Thanks to those of you who joined our fifth virtual training session this morning. Despite the force 4 from the NW forecast for Dover, it was lovely in our gardens!
This week’s theme was ‘Multi-sports’, and there were some very innovative responses!

The plan for the day
Part 1
The first part was 15 minutes of cold water. Today we had paddling pools, a bath, a hot-tub and a jug!
Part 2
Another one minute challenge - pass a piece of fruit or veg between the legs in a figure of 8 and then round the body as many times as possible in one minute. I loved the variety of fruit - top marks for the pineapple! I think 28 was the top score, but I could well be wrong there.
Part 3
Then we had the scavenger hunt - there were some very quick returns! I particularly enjoyed the creative stories afterwards that brought all the items together!!.
Joanna was back (yay). She can now work the chat function but still no joy with audio & video. Maybe by the time we get out of lockdown?
It was lovely to chat again afterwards - have a fabulously sunny weekend everyone.
Next week
After all the offers of keeping Mandi busy with our DIY tasks we concluded that next week’s theme would be ‘Bob the builder’. By popular request the week after is ‘Under the sea’.
I’ll share details about the theme on Thursday.
The best bits of today
Here’s a short clip of some of the screenshots from this morning.
Enjoy!!
