DCT Virtual Training - Week 6

Thanks to those of you who joined our fifth virtual training session this morning. The SW Force 5 was making itself known in gardens across the UK - I can only imagine how bumpy it would have been in Dover. Still, fingers crossed, if things continue on the path the government have planned, we’ll have limited training in place next month.

This week’s theme was ‘Bob the Builder’, and Heather went above & beyond with her larger than life digger

Swimming costume, googles, high viz jacket and a digger. Nope, absolutely nothing unusual in this picture!

The plan for the day

Part 1

The first part was 15 minutes of cold water. There seemed to be more watching than actual getting wet this week!

Part 2

The biscuit challenge - get a biscuit from your forehead into your mouth using only facial muscles and gravity. Oh the facial expressions were wonderful! I couldn’t help but laugh when Heather lost her lovely homemade biscuit in the cat bowl AND carried on anyway!!

Part 3

Then we had the scavenger hunt - loved the creativity again!

By popular request the week after is ‘Under the sea’.

I’ll share the full details fo the challenge on Thursday, but as a heads up, you’ll need cream crackers!
