Can I have extra feeds?
The answer is almost always ‘no’. It’s really important that you get used to working off your body. If you’re sick on the day you’ll know that you are able to handle swimming without feeds for at least 2 hours.
Can I start at a different time?
No, it’s impossible to keep everyone safe and accounted for if everyone does their own thing
Can you tell me how long I’ll be given next weekend?
No!! Expect the unexpected! Quite apart from the concept of deliberately confusing you, how long we swim is at least partly determined by the conditions.
Do I have to wear one of your hats
No, you can use whatever hat you like as long as it’s red for a soloist or yellow for a relay swimmer
I’m not training for a solo or relay, which group should I join
If you are training for an event that will require a feed, join the reds. If you just want to train for fun and don’t intend feeding or swimming longer than 2 hours, join the yellows.
